I recently had the opportunity to spend two full days with Hope Yoder at Designs by Hope Yoder for one-on-one training at her studio in Sarasota, Florida, and I can't recommend her highly enough.
The amount of knowledge she shared was truly incredible. Hope is not only an exceptionally talented designer, but also an outstanding teacher. Her patience, willingness to answer every question, and ability to explain both the technical and business sides of the industry made the experience invaluable.
In just two days, I learned so much that I genuinely believe I eliminated at least a year's worth of trial and error. Beyond the hands-on training, Hope's experience, business insight, and sales training were absolutely over the top. She doesn't just teach you how to create great work—she teaches you how to build a successful business.
One thing that also impressed me was her studio itself. She has an outstanding display of promotional products and finished items that showcase what's possible. Seeing the quality and variety of products in person sparked countless ideas and demonstrated the level of craftsmanship and professionalism she brings to every project.

I’m finally on my way home from Sarasota where I took a course to learn how to use my new embroidery machine! I stayed a little longer to spend time with family!!
